Saskia Kroonenberg is a scholar in literary studies at the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures of Radboud University. She was a Marie-Curie fellow at the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities in Cologne. Her PhD combined Antonio Gramsci’s political philosophy with postcolonial literature and new materialism, and was graded summa cum laude.

Saskia has been a guest researcher at Utrecht University and at the University of Zurich. She is currently preparing a monograph at Amsterdam University Press about the notion of the mother tongue in contemporary Italy. She also loves to dance.
